Couple of years ago, several parents of Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Sport students came together to help minimize the frustrations and concerns shared by all "freshmen parents." The result of their coming together was the formation of the Parents Association.

The purpose of the Association is "to encourage active interest of parents of Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Sport students in the activities and programs of Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Sport, in order that they may share in the continued development of their sons and daughters."

There are no dues to join the Parents Association. If you are a parent or legal guardian of an enrolled Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Sport student, you are automatically enrolled as a member of the Association.

The Parents Association meets once a year. At these meetings, family members are invited to hear remarks by the founder of the Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Sport.
